I am such an art slacker these days.
I just want to sit around and look at other people's art for a while, instead of creating my own. I've completed two pages for the Stone Angel chunky, and made a bunch of random ATCs, but haven't made anything bigger in quite some time. Well, I did make a wool fusion piece last weekend, but I haven't embellished it or anything yet. I'm waiting for it to tell me what it wants, and for my hands to feel well enough to actually follow through. Unfortunately, the last time I made a fibre fusion, it hung for so long without being worked on that I got all pissed off and threw it out. I grew tired of it staring me in the face.
Here's the work I've done on the Angel book so far...

I'm going to spend the rest of the day organizing the packages for my Art Elements swap. I'm still waiting for a bunch, and need to head over to Ang's to pick her's up, but the ones that are here can get sorted. There's some pretty interesting things in the baggies for this swap, things I NEVER would have thought of. I think everyone will be happy with their returns.

And maybe, I'm not promising, but maybe, I'll make some art.

How in the world can you say you have been an art slacker????? Two chunky book pages which are frigging amazing. I am SO glad i get a page from everyone. How did you make those rays??????
And what did you do witht he other to make him look so brownish?

How do you do fibre infusion?
Wanna do coffee this week? Can't afford much else so maybe we could do a star f...i mean bucks....for a mochalockapooka.....i'm on holidays so anyday is good for me except for thursday.
I'm the slacker i haven't done anything. well work...blah....
I love you leaf ATC. It speaks to me. Leaves ....i marvel at them. How do you marvel at something, it does happen doesn;t it?

I dunno...maybe I just feel like I haven't *accomplished* anything. I think it's because there are so many things that I want to be doing right now, but I'm not actually doing any of them...*shrug*, I need a fire cracker lit under my ass.
The sun rays were done using my trusty clorox bleach pen and my valiant soldier!!!Isn't he gorgeous? I tinted and grained the original digital photo on my computer, then I uploaded the altered photo to Walmart, and they printed it exactly as I had uploaded it! So every page is an original. I was pumped when I picked up the pics...they were printed in a little over an hour and all I had to do was cut and embellish...well except for the rays...I had to do those on every picture.
Fibre fusion's pretty easy. But I'll explain it to you later, I'm bushed!
How'bout Wednesday for coffee. I can't afford much else either, so make sure you eat first! We're short staffed this coming week at work, so I can't take any time off, so is the evening okay?

First thing in the morning, sitting on my porch having my first smoke of the day...that's when I marvel. I just love the "oh, WOW" of it all...you know what I mean....and, my zinnias are blooming!
